Iron being more reactive than copper will displace copper from its salt and form a subsequent salt of ferrous sulphate. During the reaction, the colour of copper sulphate [blue] will change to greenish-blue {ferrous sulphate}. This is an example of a Displacement reaction.

We will find that the iron nail have some brownies substance covering it's surface

And the solution will turn into green colour

it is because the iron nail absorbed the copper from the solution. So the solution become green in colour
