the ozone layer is located in the stratosphere part of our atmosphere.

the distance between Earth's surface and ozone layer is 15-30 kilometers.

additional information about ozone layer :-

→ ozone is formed by 3 oxygen atom and is very reactive molecule. but it's also very useful.

→ ozone layer is like a shield for us. it protects us by absorbing uv (ultraviolet) rays. ultraviolet rays are very harmful, they can cause skin cancer, cataracts and many other diseases.

→ ozone layer was first discovered by Charles Fabry and Henry buisson in 1913.

→ about 90% of ozone located in stratosphere part.

→ because of excessive use of CFLs (chlorofluorocarbons), the ozone layer is depleting day by day.
