In a distance time graph the time is represented on x axis and distance on y axis . In this , we can use straight line to show that the object is on rest curved to show that the object is moving etc......
a) if the body is at rest , then the line drawn , parallel to the time axis is straight .
b) the distance time graph will be slating to x axis
c) when the body is moving with varying speed , it covers unequal distances in different intervals of time and the line is not straight (non uniform motion ) the line is curved .
