Heyaa folk,
✪ Distillation ✪
➢ The action of purifying a liquid by a process of heating and cooling, is called as Distillation.
The mixture is heated until one of the components boils (turns to a vapor). Distillation is a widely used method for separating mixtures based on differences in the conditions required to change the phase of components of the mixture.
✪ Fractional Distillation ✪
➢ Fractional distillation is the separation of a mixture into its component parts, or fractions.
Chemical compounds are separated by heating them to a temperature at which one or more fractions of the compound will vaporize.
The fractional difference in temperature at which different elements in a solution become gaseous and then re-condense is the principle of fractional distillation.
Hope it helps u :)

Distillation is the process in which the volatile (liquids that evaporate) is separated from non volatile impurities.
In fractional distillation Liquids that evaporate at different boiling points are separated by means of fractional column.
