Here's your answer..

Distillation is the process of heating a liquid to form vapour ,and then cooling the vapour to get back liquid.

Distillation can be used to separated the mixture of common salt and water.

In distillation flask the salt and water is taken and then heaten .Due to heating the water converts into vapours which rise up and come out through one the side of distillation flask and then it enters water Condenser. And in order the cool the vapour the cold water is circulated through the outer tube of condenser. The hot water get cool in the Water Condenser and form pure water which collects in beaker. And Salt get collected at bottom.

His is how the Process of "Distillation" is used.

⭕First of all we take a mixture of acetone and water in a distillation flask.

⭕Arrange the apparatus as shown in the figure.

⭕After that we heat the flask slowly tell the liquid starts boiling and the temperature of the liquid starts rising.

⭕The acetone vaporizers and condensers in the condenser and we can collect it from the condenser outlet.

⭕Temperature will remain constant tell all the Acetone and mixture is evaporated.

⭕When the temperature starts rising, stop heating the flask. You will observe that in the distillation flask only pure water is left.

⭕This method is called distillation. It is used for separation of components of a mixture containing two miscible liquids that boil without decomposition and their boiling point.
