Distilled water is a kind of water that is used in laboratories. It does not conduct electricity because it does not contain any kind of salt so it does not break sodium and chlorine ions.

Distilled water is the purest form of water which doesn't contains any impurities.

Distilled water doesn't conduct electricity as to conduct electricity there must be some impurity such as salts of sodium, magnesium etc. But, as distilled water is the purest form of water it doesn't contains the necessary salts required to conduct electricity.

Hope it helps
