DNA is a large molecule and hence it is known as macromolecule. It has two complementary strands would around each other to form a double helix structure. Each strand is composed of nucleotide (phosphate, pentode sugar and a nitrogenous Base.)The phosphate and sugar are arranged length wise and the nitrogenous Base from one strand extend to join the nitrogenous Base of the other strand. The nitrogenous bases are Adenine , Guanine , Cytosine nd Thiamine.
Adenine joins with Thiamine with a double histogenesis bond. Ans cytosine joins with guanine with a triple hydrogen bond.
A=T nd G triple bond C
It is important for inheritance, coding for proteins and the genetic instruction guide for life and its processes.
