1. painting on the iron surface. it will the air to get in the contact of iron surface.
2. applying oil on the iron surface. it will prevent water to get in the contact of iron surface as we know water doesn't mix with oil so oil prevent from rusting
3. galvanizing. it is the deposition of lalyer of zinc on an iron object. zinc forms a layer of zinc oxide on its, reaction with the oxygen. this layer act as a barrier between iron and the atmosphere
