Info on dorsiventral leaf:-

1. It lies at right angle to the stem.

2. Below to it there is a large vascular bundle is present.

3. While above to it there are two patches are found in which mainly is parenchyma & some patches are collenchyma.

4. Bundles will extend in the lower & upper layers that is known as bundle sheat extensions.

5. In the bundle sheath extension no chloroplast is found.

6. In most of the dicots dorsiventral leaf is found.

7. Nerium and Eucalyptus are the exceptions in this.

8. It is also known as bi facial leaf.

Dorsiventral leaf the leaf type, found mainly in DICOTYLEDONS, with a structure that changes from dorsal (upper) surface to ventral (lower) surface.
