Double circulation is a process in which blood flows twice through the heart.

It includes two steps

1.Systemic circulation.

2.Pulmonary circulation.

From left ventricle of the heart blood flows to aorta, artery ,arteriole, capillary and finally to tissues.Tissues are connected with capillaries of vein and artery.

From tissues blood goes to capillary of vein, venules ,venacava then finally into the right atria and then to right ventricle.

Pulmonary artery carries impure blood to lungs for purification.

After purification oxygenated blood reaches to the left atria via pulmonary vein then to left ventricle .

Here blood goes twice through heart.

Pulmonary circulation starts from right ventricle ,after purification it ends in left atria.

Systemic circulation starts from left ventricle the goes to all part of the body finally reaches to right atria through superior and inferior venacava.
