Double circulation in humans refers to two different circuits of blood circulation, according to the BBC. Humans and all other mammals have double circulatory systems. One circuit takes blood to the lungs to pick up oxygen, and the other circuit brings oxygenated blood to all other tissues.

Deoxygenated blood from the body tissues is poured into right atrium. Contraction of heart forces it into right ventricle. From right ventricle deoxygenated blood flows to the lungs through pulmonary artery.oxygenated blood from lungs is return into left atrium and then into left ventricle. The left ventricle forces the oxygenated blood to the whole body.thus, for making one complete round of circulation circuit around all body parts, the blood passes through the heart twice.

the pathway of blood from heart to the lungs and back to the heart is called pulmonary circulationand the pathway of blood from heart to the body and back to hurt is called system circulation this is known as double circulation of blood

Single circulation is the type of circulatory system that occurs in fishes in which the blood passes only one through the heart, in each complete circuit of the body compare double circulation “ single circulation a dictionary of biology

In single circulation there is no pulmonary circulation and there is only system circulation . These organism have two chambered heart and the blood is circulated one time from heart to the body
