pls write in short.
Answers
◆ In the human circulatory system the pathway of blood from the heart to the lungs and back to the heart is called pulmonary circulation. and the pathway of blood from the heart to the rest of the body and back to the heart is called the systematic circulation.
◆ These two types of circulation taken together make double circulation
◆ A circulatory system in which the blood Travels twice through the heart in one complete cycle of the body is called double circulation.
◆ The double circulation is necessary to supply oxygenated blood to the whole body ( except lungs ) , and then to get deoxygenated blood refrigerated in the lungs.
◆ It helps in the seperation of oxygenated blood and deoxygenated blood .
◆ Due to which our body can adjust according to surrounding temperature.

WHAT IS DOUBLE CIRCULATION...??
- The Circulatory system of man is called double circulations as the blood passes through the heart twice in one complete cycle of the body. It involves two circulations:
i) PULMONARY CIRCULATION : It begins from the right ventricle which expels the blood into the pulmonary trunk. The blood flowing into the vascular system of lungs , becomes oxygenated and returns to the heart (left atrium ) through pulmonary veins.
ii) SYSTEMIC CIRCULATION : This circulation starts from the left ventricle which sends the blood into the aorta. The aorta divides into arteries , arterioles and finally to capillaries and thereby, supplies oxygenated blood to various parts of the body. From there deoxygenated blood is collected by venule which join to form veins and finally vena cava and pour blood back into the right auricle of heart.
- Necessity of double circulation ( extra ) : The right side and the left side of the human heart are useful to keep deoxygenated and oxygenated blood from mixing. This type of separation of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood ensures a highly efficient supply of oxygen to the body. This is useful in case of human because it constantly gives energy to maintain their body temperature.
ADVANTAGES :
i) The heart can pump blood further around the body.
ii) Blood pressure can be increased after it has passed through the delicate capillaries of the pulmonary system which leads to high pressure and fast flow of blood in the body.
iii) Oxygenated blood is separated from deoxygenated blood. This ensures a more efficient supply of oxygenated blood to body tissues.
iv) The systematic circulation carries blood at higher pressure than the pulmonary circulation. This allows for a more rapid circulation of blood to body tissues without damaging the delicate capillaries in the lungs.
v) One heart makes the coordination in easy way.
