\bold{Double\:Displacment\:Reaction}

If two reactants exchange their constituents chemically and form two products then the reaction is known as " Double Displacement Reaction " .

An experiment on double displacement reaction as follows =>

➡ Take A pinch of lead nitrate and dissolve in 5 ml of distilled water in a test tube.

➡ Take A pinch of potassium iodide in a test tube and dissolve in distilled water .

➡ Mix lead nitrate solution with potassium iodide solution .

➡ A yellow colour substance which is insoluble in water is found as precipitate .

The formula for the experiment =>

\boxed{pb(NO3)2 + 2KI -> PbI2 + 2KNO3}
