Double fertilisation refers to the fertilisation of the female gamete with of the make gamete and the fertilisation of another female gamete formed as a result of meiosis with that of the tube cell present in the pollen grain and triple fusion refers to the fertilisation of the female gamete with the tube cell as tube cell is diploid and female gamete is haploid
and results into a triploid cell
