Drag is a opposing force experienced by any object due to the relative motion between the object and the fluid in which it is moving.
It is a resistive force and it can generate heat and it has tendency to reduce the speed of the object.

Answer:
=======
=> Drag basically means the resistance offered by fluid on any body through it.
=> So, fluid tends to slow down any body travelling through it.
=> Drag depends on the velocity of the body.
=> It can be reduced by making the shape of body as streamlined body.
========
Example:
========
A truck with a flat front will experience high air resistance while a sports car with a streamlined shape will experience lower air resistance, allowing the car to go faster.
