ANSWER::

1.Drip irrigation or micro-irrigation system is helpful for the crops mostly because it has the power to save water plus save nutrients.

2. Water drips slowly which reaches to the roots of plant either from above soil surface or buried below surface.

3.By this practise we are minimizing chances of evaporation and water directly reaches to roots which helps the plants to grow more efficiently

4. To release water slowly drip emitters are used..

5. Drip irrigation is controlled irrigation method in which overhead irrigation makes the plant wet but , produces runoff.

6. Another way by which drip irrigation works is using a hose that has drip emitters already built in it . This was just a slight variation in drip irrigation technique which is named as trickle tape.
