what is drive A and drive B IT computer

Drive letters A and B are reserved for floppy disk drives. However, if your computer does not have a floppy disk drive, you can assign these letters to removable drives. Ah... the good ole days. A: was the first disk device, B: the second, and so on - in CP/M.
