Drugs are substances other than food which can be inhaled, smoked, consumed into the body and causes physiological changes in the body.

Drugs can be categorized into

1) Pharmaceutical drugs - Which are used as medication to cure an ailment of the body.

2) Pyschoactive drugs-
These are the drugs which are used affects the nervous system mostly resulting in interfering with brain signals.

To minimise use of pyschoactive drugs -

1) Avoiding negative peer pressure

2)Get educated about such drugs and their side effects.

Anonymous: Avoiding negative peer pressure wouldn't be the only solution to tackle the problem. I guess, self developed anxiety and other factors are responsible for the consumption of drugs too. They don't involve peer pressure or illiteracy right? Self awareness programs should be added to the solutions also.
Anonymous: And Sorry for pointing out the flaws :P. Your answer is brilliant. Just need some more points.
Anonymous: 2nd point is about self awareness .Peer pressure is completely different from illiteracy , in one hand your friends force you to use drugs to relief from your anxiety and other factors ,and in other hand illiteracy means not to know how to read or write, which is again different from getting information about the drugs , hope you now understand the flaws you found . Thank you
