the tiny flat dry cell that are used in watches and calculators are called button cell .There are various kind of button cell. in a typical button the the top cell is called anode and it is called positive terminal The bottom cell is called cathode and is negative terminal. These are separated by separator. There is an insulator which provide insulation between anode and cathode . Most of the button cell gives voltage 1.3 to 1.6 .
