Dry ice is solid form of carbon dioxide.

Formula:CO2

It is called so because it looks like ice but it sublimes and doesn't leave any residue.

Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide. Its formula is CO2. It is called so as it looks like ice. And when it melts is actually sublimes and does not enter the liquid state and hence it is called "dry" ice.

Hope it helps you!!
