dear firstly you are misspelled , its lymph. and lymph is a light yellow liquid which is somewhat similar in composition to the blood plasma. it is not red like blood because it does not contain rbcs. its main function is to protect the body by killing the germs drained out of the body tissues with the help of lymphocytes and making antibodies, it also helps in removing the waste products like fragments of dead cells, etc

Through the pores present in the walls of capillaries some amount of plasma, proteins and blood cells escape into intercellular spaces between the tissue to form the the tissue fluid or lymph.

Function :-

1. Lymph drains into lymphatic capillaries from the intercellular spaces, which join to form large lymph vessels that finally open into larger veins.

2. Lymph carries digested and absorbed fat from intestine and drains excess fluid from extra cellular space back into the blood.
