e = m {c}^{2}
is a relation given by Einstien in which he relates energy, mass and the speed of light.
Hence mass of a body can be converted into energy.

E= mc^2
here ....
E=energy
m=mass
c= velocity of light= 3×10^8m/s

☸is Einstein mass energy relationship

☸it is the relations between the energy and the mass

☸particularly every reaction follows the law of conservation of mass
i.e. the total mass of reactants equals to total mass of products in a chemical reaction....------.....
but in certain reactions like NUCLEAR REACTION.... certain mass of the reactant is converted into energy... so in nuclear reaction law of conservation of energy is violated... and this violation can be calculated by E=mc^2

HOPE IT HELPS YOU....
