What is E- waste?

ANSWER -

Electronic wastes (e- wastes) includes all the discarded electronic and electric equipments.

✔️ These cause both air pollution and soil pollution. Various elements, compounds, chemicals are used to produce an electronic article. When they are disposed in the environment, they get released into air and can pose a grave threat to that particular ecosystem. They can also cause human diseases.

As most of the electronic waste (e-waste) produced are non- biodegradable so if dumped in the soil, causes soil pollution.
