An Earthquake is a naturally occurring disaster. The sudden shaking of the ground which causes great damage to life and property is often referred to as an Earthquake.

Earthquakes are caused by the sudden movement in the Earth's crust. Resulting in the formation of Seismic ways that are high energy waves traveling through the Earth.

Prevention of Earthquakes?

 1. Areas that are highly prone to earthquake hazards, must have properly designed buildings. 

2. In the case of Earthquakes, we must immediately move out of our houses to a safe place.

3. Do not stand near the buildings, as they may fall down.

4. Do not use Lifts during an Earthquake.

5. If Indoors, immediately cover your head. Sit under a table, and wait for the disaster to stop.
