Examples - Grasslands,deserts,forests ,lakes,etc. These are natural ecosystems.

There are also human made ecosystems like aquariums, crop lands, gardens,etc.

An ecosystem is self-sustained stable system. The stability is maintained between the availability and use of nutrients by recycling them through natural resources.
