Ecological succession is a process  by which an ecosystem gradually changes and develops over a time . There are mainly to kinds of ecological succession i.e, (1) Primary succession and (2) Secondary succession.

  • Nothing remains the same ,they are constantly changing.
  • Primary succession-Primary succession is a kind of succession which occurs in a land which does not have initial vegetation.
  • Secondary succession- Secondary succession is a kind of succession which occurs in a land where their is initial vegetation present.
