Eddy Currents: These are the currents which are induced in the bulk pieces of conductors when the amount of magnetic flux linked with the conductor changes.it is also known as focoult current

If a piece of metal is placed in a varying magnetic field or rotated high speed in a uniform magnetic field then induced current set up the piece are like wire pool of air, called Eddy currents.

Magnitude of Eddy currents (I) = -e/R

These are also called Facault's current.

hope this helps u❤️
