hello friend...!!

• To calculate efficiency the formula that is used is

efficiency = 1 - T2 / T1

according to the question,
T1 = 327 degree Celsius = 327+ 273 = 600K

T2 = 27 degree Celsius = 27 + 273 = 300k

now, Efficiency is equal to,

E = 1 - 300/600

E = (600 - 300 ) / 600

E = 300 / 600

E = 1/2 joules

E = 0.5 joules

Answer:

The efficiency of a heat engine working between 327°c and 27°c is 50%.

Explanation:

To find the efficiency of a heat engine working between 327°c and 27°c.

Efficiency (eta) exists provided in terms of both temperature and heat that exists :

Eta = 1 - ( \frac{T_{2}}{T_{1}} )

= 1 - (\frac{Q_{2} }{Q_{1} } )

Where subscript 1 stands for source and 2 for a sink.

The temperature contains a fundamental unit as Kelvin so you must transform °C to K.

T_{1}  = 327 + 273 = 600 K

T_{2} = 27 + 273 = 300 K

Eta = 1 - (300/600)

= 1 - 0.5

= 0.5 = 50 percentage.

Therefore, the efficiency of a heat engine working between 327°c and 27°c is 50%.
