according to   Einstein , learning facts by rote was not an real education. he thought that facts could be accessed any time  by reading books. it was more important to learn the ideas behind the facts the facts themselves  . he hated convectional education and was miserable in school . he belived that ought to  invest time and effort in studying only if "one" liked it .
