El nino is a a climatic cycle in the Pacific Ocean with a global impact on weather patterns. The cycle begins when the warm water in western tropical Pacific Ocean shifts eastwards along with the equator towards cost of South America. Normally, this warm pool near Indonesia and Philippines.
Features of El nino :-
☢It weakness the trade winds in regions and causes heavy rainfall, droughts or floods in different regions of world.
☢The presence of this leads to an increase in sea surface temperature.
