An elastomer is a polymer with viscoelasticity and very weak intermolecular forces, and generally low Young's modulus and high failure strain compared with other materials.

An elastomer is a substance which has no well defined plastic region in a stress strain curve and can be stretched over a large amount of strain without undergoing permanent irreversible change.

They can be stretched again and again but they do not undergo deformation easily.

Figure shows stress strain curve for an elastomer.

They don't obey Hooke's law for most of the region.

Common examples are rubber and tissue of aorta.

Hope it helps!
