An election manifesto is the list of promises to citizens which is issued by the respected political party. The list shows the ideology of any party and commitment to their citizens.
It shows when party come in power , what party will do for farmers, how they remove unemployment, how they will work for women safety etc.
So in short, it is completely a list of promises.
