what is electoral college and how is it elected?​

Electoral college is constituted of all the Members of Parliament of both houses and all the Members of Legislative Assemblies of all 29 states of India. The Members of Parliament are elected by General election(Lok Sabha) and single transferable vote by the Members of Legislative Assemblies (Rajya Sabha). The Members of Legislative Assemblies are elected through state elections/ Vidhan Sabha Elections.
