Explanation:

electric current is a flow of electrons in a conductor or amount of charge flowing through a particular cross-sectional area in unit time.

electricity current I = Q / T

where Q is the net charge flowing through any or cross section of the conductor in time t.

If a charge Q flows through the cross-section of a conductor in time t, the current I then I=Q/t. The S.I unit of charge is coulomb and measurement of electric current happens in units of coulomb per second which is 'ampere'.
