What is electric current what makes electric current flow in a wire

A wire functions as a conduit for electricity.  In order for electricity to flow through a wire a difference in charge must exist.  This difference in charge is measured in volts.

The flow of electric charge is known as electric current :)

As wire is a conductor so it has a large number of electrons and these electrons makes electric current to flow in that particular wire :)
