Electric field lines are generated by every charged body. They start from positive part and end into negative part if there is single charged body than electric field lines goes till infinity. Electric field lines is an imaginary concept. In reality they doesn't exist it is created to study electrostats with ease

Few properties

  • Electric Field lines never intersect even if formed by to different bodies
  • They are uniform
  • Every charged body has electric field lines

Additional information

  • You can find Electric field of a point charge at a distance X by using formula KQ/X²
  • For infinite Wire it is  \frac{2K \lambda}{R}
