Your answer mate

____________________________

Electric flux over an area in an electric field is a measure of electric field lines crossing the area over it.

If small planar element of area "dA" is placed normal to electric field (E) then the number of electric field lines crossing this area element is proportional to E*dA. If we tilt the area element by any angle ⊙, the number of field lines crossing the area will be smaller. As projection of area element normal to E is dA*Cos⊙.Hence electric flux d⊙ through an area element dA in an electric field (E) is defined as

d⊙=E*dA=E*A*Cos⊙

Electric flux for a close surface can be +,-,0 according to angle ⊙. Electric flux is a scalar quantity. It's unit is (N*m^2)/C.

heyy mate..!!!

u mean : electric flux

Electric flux is the rate of flow of the electric field through a given area (see ). Electric flux is proportional to the number of electric field lines going through a virtual surface.
