Resistance is the property of the conductor to resist the flow of current. Resistance of a conductor depends on Material of the wire, length and cross-section area of wire and temperature.
It's SI unit is Ohm and 1 Ohm is defined as the flow of 1A of current through a conductor between two points having potential difference of 1V.
