Electricity is the most important source of energy because it has great advantages over other forms of energy in the terms of its high efficiency , high flexibility ( Regarding voltage )
, low cost , easy transmission , a cleaner fuel ( absence of smoke or smell ) ,etc .

For ex - When a glass rod rubbed with silk cloth , glass rod becomes positively charged by loosing electrons where as silk cloth becomes negatively charged by gaining electrons
