Electro-chemical process in which current is passed between two electrodes through an ionized solution (electrolyte) to deposit positive ions (anions) on the negative electrode (cathode) and negative ions (cations) on the positive electrode (anode).

Yubraj1: i cant answer to this qn anymore....
Yubraj1: so....
Yubraj1: ok no problem i dont want that.....
riya2002268i: ok by
Yubraj1: the ans:- the properties of an unknown compound are derived practically you cannot say whether an unknown compound will dissociate by heat light or electricity you have to only understand the process by which a compound will dissociate
riya2002268i: ok
Yubraj1: sry I thought your question is different
Yubraj1: electrolysis is a process by which a compound in which two different ions are present for example in H2O there are 2 ions present in electrolysis the compound with two different zones will dissociate or in other words separates from the compound to become two different atoms or
Yubraj1: ions* in place of zones...
riya2002268i: ok bye
