The phenomenon of producing an an E.M.F or induced current in a coil by changing the magnetic flux around the coil is called electro magnetic induction.

It is the principal of Electric generator.

It is first observed by Michael Faraday.

The magnetic flux interlinked with coil induced e.m.f in coil and the direction of induced current is given by Right hand rule .
