The production of electricity from magnetism is called electromagnetic induction.
For example, when a straight wire is moved up and down rapidly between two poles of a horseshoe magnet then an electric current is induced in that wire. This is a case of Electromagnetic induction.

When the current is induced due to the movement of the magnet and as of the change in the magnetic field, this is termed as electromagnetic induction
