ELECTROMGNATIC INDUCTION
Electromagnetic or magnetic induction is the production of an electromotive force across an electrical conductor in a changing magnetic field.
FARADAY LAW
Faraday's law states that the EMF is also given by the rate of change of the magnetic flux: where is the electromotive force (EMF) and ΦB is the magnetic flux. The direction of the electromotive force is given by Lenz's law.

Faraday's laws of electromagnetic induction.

(a) First law : Whenever there is a change in the magnetic flux associated with a circuit, an e.m.f. is induced in the circuit.

(b) Second law : The magnitude of the induced e.m.f. is directly proportional to the time rate of change of magnetic flux through the circuit.
