Electromagnetic waves are also known as electromagnetic radiations. They get either reflected or released throughout space, electromagnetic field. Electromagnetic waves can take the form ir ultraviolet, heat, light and many other forms in existence.
They are the waves or the radiations which are result of vibrations. Those vibrations, that are created or formed between an electric field and magnetic field. Electromagnetic waves short form is EM waves. Hence, we can also say them as EM waves.
Some examples of electromagnetic waves or electromagnetic radiations i.e. EM waves or EM radiations are Gamma rays, Infrared rays, alpha rays, X-rays and many other radiations. Which also includes thermal radiations and light waves i.e. visible light.
