electronic emmision :- the energy required to librate an electron from metal surface may arise from various sources such as heat , light and electric field is known as Emission of electrons .
there are many type of electronic emission or emissions of electrons .
1) thermodynamics emissions. :- the energy to free the electrons can be given by hearing the metal .
2) Field emissions :- when a conductor is put under a strong electric field the free electrons on it this process is known as Field emissions .
3) Photoelectric emission :- emission of free electrons from the metal surface by falling light , is known as photoelectric emission. this emission explained by Einstein . e.g E = hv
where E is energy of photon , h is plank 's constant and v is frequency .
