Examples :- Headlight of cars, ribs of bicycle.

It's the coating or deposition of a metal layer on another metal through the process of electrolysis, It helps by protecting the metal by rusting.

Eg:

Zn + Fe---------> ZnFe

Zinc layer is applied on iron articles to prevent them from rusting.
