- Electroplating is a process of depositing a metallic layer to prevent corrossion.
- clean iron sheets are dipped in molten zinc to deposit a layer of zinc on it is called Galvanizing.
- Galvanization on iron sheets is mainly done to prevent corossion . Galvanized iron does not even rust if there is a scratch on the zinc layer.
