Embryonic connective tissue is further classified into two types such as :-

1. Mesenchyme connective tissue- This tissue is made up of irregular shaped cells and embedded in the semifluid ground substance.Almost located under the skin and along the developing bones of the embryo.

2. Mucous connective tissue- These type of tissue has jelly Like substance as its matrix. And is located in the umbilical cord of the foetus.
