Encounter hypothesis---- It is the earliest theories postulated for the initial formation of the planets. This hypothesis has the advantage of describing why the planets all revolve in the same direction. It applies from the encounter geometry. It also explains why the inner worlds are denser than the outer worlds.

Hope it helps!!!

"Encounter hypothesis:

The encounter hypothesis of the planet is related to solar family formation. This is one of the "earliest theorie". A five billion years ago, it suggested that a rogue star or intergalactic star or star which is without gravitational pull which passed "close to the Sun".

At the same time, some material was stripped with tidal force with the Sun and the intergalactic star in the form of "hot gas". This theory also says that all the planets are formed by these ejected materials from the Sun."
