Hey there.....!!

Endocrine Gland-:

An endocrine gland is a ductless gland that pours its secretion directly into the blood and not through any special duct.

Major Endocrine Glands Of Our Body Include -:

(1) Adrenal Gland is located like a cap above the kidneys. Each adrenal gland is divided into two parts,

central medulla and peripheral cortex.

(2) Pancreas is a duct as well as a ductless gland. As a duct gland it pours it secretions into the duodenum for digestion while as a ductless gland it has a special group of hormone secreting cells called the Islets of Langerhans.

(3) Pituitary Gland is just the size of a pea and is situated just below the hypothalamus of brain. It is called a master gland as it controls all other endocrine glands.

(4) Thyroid Gland has a bilobed structure and is present in front of the neck below larynx.

Hope this helps!!!
